English Conversation - Resolution

Berikut ini adalah contoh percakapan (conversation) Bahasa Inggris tentang penggunaan “be going to”. Be going to berbeda dengan will yaa… Be going to tingkat kepastiannya 99% walaupun sama-sama membicarakan sesuatu yang akan datang (future).

Resolution

Fitri : “Hi, Silvi!!....”
Silvi : “Hi!!.. How are you?”
Fitri : “I’m fine. And you?”
Silvi : “Me too.. Nice to meet you..”
Fitri : “Nice to meet you too..”
Silvi : “What are you planning to do or thinking about doing during this year?”
Fitri : “I’m going to go swimming at Kuta beach with my family. How about you?”
Silvi : “I’m going to go to Kawah Putih with my husband.. And you? Anything else?”
Fitri : “I’m going to live in Majakerta because the distance is so far away from my house to college..”
Silvi : “Ohh.... That’s right... It’s so far away.. ”
Fitri : “You know? In this year my mother is going to buy a Laptop for me.. I’m very happy....”
Silvi : “Ohh.. It’s good! Why is your mother going to buy a laptop for you?”
Fitri : “Because I got good score in study report.
Silvi : “Ohh.. Congratulations! I’m going to buy a beautiful mini laptop, that I mentioned to you before..”
Fitri : “Do you have much money? That mini laptop? That’s expensive enough..
Silvi : “Yes, I know.. Alhamdulillah, I have enough money to buy it.. Are you going to find a job? ”
Fitri : “I don’t know but in my mind I want to get a job very soon..”
Silvi : “Yeah.... You can do it..”
Fitri : “You know, Silvi? In my mind, I want to go to another country.. But I’m confused. I don’t know what can I do there?
Silvi : “It’s very interesting.. You can do many things there... Like working or just refreshing with somebody or your family..
Fitri : “Yeah, You’re right... I have a dream and I hope my dream comes true.. May Allah bless us abundantly.... Amiiinnnn.....
Silvi : Aminnn....
Fitri : Ok, I must go home now..”
Silvi : Yes, it’s already afternoon..”
Fitri : “See you next time....”
Silvi : “See you too...”

English Conversation - Tempting Snacks

Morning buddies! Artikel ini saya bikin pagi hari, itulah kenapa saya menggunakan kata sapaan “Morning” hehehe. By the way, apa kalian masih ingat materi tentang Prosedur Text? Itu lho yang biasanya judulnya How to make bla bla bla…… Yups! Itu dia. Kali ini percakapan Bahasa Inggris kita kali ini membahas tentang cara membuat sesuatu (baca aja, nanti juga tahu sesuatunya apaan :P). OK! Semoga membantu. And always remember! Ini cuma example, daaan kalian bisa mengembangkannya more than this! Ok? ;)

TEMPTING SNACKS

Rita : “Hi....... Nita!!!!!”
Nita : “Hi.... How are you?...”
Rita : “I’m fine... And you?....”
Nita : “I’m fine too....”
Rita : “What are you doing here?”
Nita : “I’m waiting for my friend... And you?...”
Rita : “I just sitting here.. Wow! Banana chips?”
Nita : “Yeah, do you want to taste?”
Rita : “Ok..”
Nita : “Do you like it?”
Rita : “Yes, I like it... Delicious.. What ingrdients do you need to make it?...”
Nita : “You need oil for deep frying, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, salt according to taste, 5-6 raw bananas.”
Rita : “How do you make it?...”
Nita : “First, you take off and put bananas in plenty of salted iced water. After that, slice bananas with a chip slicer into water, mix in in turmeric. Next, keep for 10 minutes, remove out water fully. Then, pread out on a kitchen cloth to take off moisture. Heat up oil in a wok till smoky. Fry banana slices in one-layer batches for a minute or two or until crisp. Then, lift chips out with slotted spoon and remove on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt before serving.”
Rita : “Ohh........ I know...”
Nita : “What’s your favorite snack?....”
Rita : “Green beans porridge.....”
Nita : “What ingrdients do you need to make it?...”
Rita : “You need 1 cup green beans, 1 cup tapioca balls, 1 can coconut milk, 1 pcs of palm sugar, a pinch of salt and a quart water.”
Nita : “How do you make it?...”
Rita : “First, soak green beans over night before cooking, this may soften beans. Boil green bean with quart water and palm sugar for about 2 hours. After that, add coconut milk, soak tapioca ball with a little bit water till it bigger. Then, add too the cooking, let it simmer and thicken soup. Ready to be serve cold or warm.
Nita : “Ok, I will make it. Maybe next time....”
Rita : “Yeah, that’s good idea....”
Nita : “Ok, I must go home now.. My husband is coming...”
Rita : ”Yeah.....”
Nita : “See you next time....”
Rita : “See you too.....”

Memories, dari judulnya aja udah bikin kita baper. Yups! Kenangan. Percakapan kita kali ini membahas tentang kenangan. Tapi bukan kenangan masa lalu tentang cinta yaa... :P (hehehe) Ini adalah contoh percakapan (conversation) Bahasa Inggris antara dua orang yang membahas tentang apa saja yang biasanya mereka lakukan semasa kecil. CHILDHOOD MEMORIES

Ratni : “Hey Naima! Look at the marble..”
Naima : “Yeah, what’s wrong with marble?”
Ratni : “I have memories when I was childhood..”
Naima : “Ohh.. May I know about your memories?”
Ratni : “Sure.. So, what do you want to know about my memories?”
Naima : “What’s your favorite childhood memory?”
Ratni : “I used to love going to my grandma's house. You know? I always got a new toy from her.. “
Naima : “It’s good.. What sports or games did you use to play when you were younger?”
Ratni : “My older sister and I used to play marbles.”
Naima: “Are you sure? Marbles?”
Ratni : “Yes... It was very easy, Naima.. How about you?”
Naima: “I used to play hide-and-seek with my friend.”
Ratni : “Ohh... Did you use to have a nickname?”
Naima : “I received a nickname. Nay was my nickname.. And you?”
Ratni : “I have received some nicknames from my friends. My name is Ratni. But they have called Rakni, Nani. I don’t know why...”
Naima : “Ohh.. Where did you use to spend your vocations?”
Ratni : “I used to swim in Bumi Patra with my family. And you?”
Naima : “ I used to swim in Tirta Maya with my big family..”
Ratni : “Did you ever have a part-time job?”
Naima : “Never..”
Ratni : Ohh....
Naima: “What’s your favorite food when you were childhood?”
Ratni : “I loved Blengep and Dodol. How about you?”
Naima : “I loved Serabi..”
Ratni : “Ohh... Did you have a bestfriend?”
Naima: “Yes.. I have a bestfriend. Her name is Ade Ndut. And you?”
Ratni : “Me too. Her name is Leli.”
Naima: “Did you have some bad childhood memories?”
Ratni : “I didn’t remember it...”
Naima: “Ohh... Ok, thanks for sharing with me.”
Ratni : “You’re welcome...”
Naima : “The day was afternoon. Let’s go home.”
Ratni : “Ok...”

Hello guys! Nice to meet you again! Kali ini saya mau nge-share contoh percakapan (conversation) Bahasa Inggris tentang Let’s go to the movies. Percakapan ini dilakukan antara dua orang yang menceritakan tentang pengalaman-pengalaman mereka ketika sedang menonton film dan tak lupa pesan moral yang didapat setelah menonton film-film tersebut. Well, well, langsung saja. Check it out!

LET’S GO TO THE MOVIES

Bunga : “Hi, Revi! Look at the neswpaper.......!!!”
Revi : “Yeah, why?....”
Bunga : “It is about Indonesian movie..”
Revi : “Wow! Ayat-ayat Cinta. I saw it in the theatre last year..”
Bunga : “Are you sure?...”
Revi : “Sure, it’s good Islamic romance movie. It tells the story of young handsome Fahri bin Abdullah Shiddiq, an Indonesian student attending Al-Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt, who attracts beautiful young women.”
Bunga : “Ohh.. So, what kinds of movies are you interested in?”
Revi : “I like romance movies....”
Bunga : “Why?......”
Revi : “I usually cry while watching it because I really focus and feel it.”
Bunga : “Ohh.....”
Revi : “How about you? what kinds of movies are you interested in?”
Bunga : “I like romance movies too..”
Revi : “Why?...”
Bunga : “If we don't have real romance in our own lives, a romantic movie will help us escape into a happy ever after world that we've always imagined. It’s fascinating..”
Revi : “Yeah, you’re right. What kinds of movies do you find boring?”
Bunga : “I don't like war movies because of their brutality and I especially have avoided war films. It’s boring.. And you?”
Revi : “I don't like drama movies because I find it boring, monotone and long winded stories...”
Bunga : “Ohh.. Who are your favorite actors and actresses? Why?...”
Revi : “My favorite actor is Dude Harlino because he is handsome and smart actor and my favorite actress is Asmirandah because she is beautiful, smart, pretty smile and she has a melodious voice. How about you?...”
Bunga : “My favorite actor is Tora Sudiro because he is funny, original, different and smart. I think he is an awesome actor... My favorite actress is Asty Ananta because she is beautiful, smart and multitalent....”
Revi : “Ohh...... Are there any actors you don’t like?”
Bunga : “Nothing.... And you?..”
Revi : “Me too......”
Bunga : “What’s one of the most exciting movies you have ever seen?”
Revi : “Cinta Pertama Sani....”
Bunga : “What did you like about it?...”
Revi : “I just like that story...”
Bunga : “Ohh......
Revi : “How about you?.. What’s one of the most exciting movies you have ever seen?”
Bunga : “Denias, Senandung di Atas Awan...”
Revi : “Ohh.... What moral can you get from the movie...”
Bunga : “Never too late to learn anything new and useful.....”
Revi : “Wow! Wonderful... What are your three favorite movies in English?”
Bunga : “ My favorite movies are Johnny English Reborn, Pirates of The Caribbean, and Mr Bones...”
Revi : “Why?....”
Bunga : “Because those movies always make me laugh....”
Revi :“Are there any outstanding movies playing now?
Bunga : “Of course... There are Dark Shadows, Twilight, The Women in Black, etc...”
Revi : “Ok, thaks for sharing with me..........”
Bunga : “You’re welcome........”

Hello guys, what’s up?!! Btw, pernah nggak kalian berada disuatu tempat dan lagi menunggu sesuatu sampe BT atau ngakar lalu tiba-tiba ketemu sama orang dan ngajak dia bicara dan ternyata kita punya satu tujuan sama dia? Nah, terkadang kita mengalami hal demikian kan sobat? Intinya seperti itulah percakapan Bahasa Inggris di bawah ini!

GETTING TO KNOW YOU

Introduction between Fitri and Rindu in the Halte Bus

Fitri : “HI.......... What are you doing?”
Rindu : “Hello..... I’m waiting for a bus.”
Fitri : “So, where are you going?”
Rindu : “I want to go to Wiralodra University.”
Fitri : “Oohh... Really?... Same here.”
Rindu : “By the way, my name is Rindu. What is your name?”
Fitri : “I’m Fitriyani. Nice to meet you.”
Rindu : “Nice to meet you too.. Did you have a nick name?”
Fitri : “Yes, you can call me Fitri. The bus has arrived. Let,s ride!..”
Rindu : “Yeah. Could you tell me about little your self?”
Fitri : “Sure, what do you want to know?”
Rindu : “Well.... Where were you born?”
Fitri : “I was born in Cirebon. Precisely date 28 February 1992.”
Rindu : “Did you grow up there?”
Fitri : “Yes, since I was a kid.”
Rindu : “Oohh.. I have also ever lived there. Where did you go to elementary school?”
Fitri : “Really? My elementary school at SDN 1 Cirebon.
Rindu : “Ohh..”
Fitri : “Where did you go to high school?..”
Rindu : “I went to high school at SMAN 1 Kandanghaur. And you?”
Fitri : “I went to high school at MA NUSANTARA Cirebon.”
Rindu : “What were your best subjects?”
Fitri : “My best subject is English.”
Rindu : “What subjects didn’t you like?”
Fitri : “I don’t like Mathematic subject.”
Rindu : “Did you study any foreign languages?”
Fitri : “Yes, I learned two foreign languages, Arabic and English. How about you?”
Rindu : “I just learned one foreign language that is English.”
Fitri : “What other languages can you speak?”
Rindu : “Just Javaness.”
Fitri : “When did you first study English?”
Rindu : “Since junior high school, I have studied English.”
Fitri : “When did you graduate to high school?..”
Rindu : “I was graduated in 2010. Do you have a big family?”
Fitri : “Yes, I have a big family.”
Rindu : “Did you enjoy your childhood?”
Fitri : “Yes, my childhood was enjoyed.”
Rindu : “Did you ever have a part-time job?”
Fitri : “No, I didn’t..”
Rindu : “Ok, thank you very much. Soon we will arrive at the campus.”
Fitri : “Yeah, Bus.................STOP!!!!!!!”
Rindu : “I want to go to the class. See you next time...!!!!
Fitri : “Ok, see you too...!!!! Bye.......”
Rindu : “Bye........”

This time, we are going to talk about percakapan antara three customers and waiter di sebuah Restaurant. Duhh… Jadi baper ehh laper. Hehehe

Didalam percakapan ini dijelaskan bagaimana cara memesan makanan menggunakan Bahasa Inggris. Well, langusung CEKIDOT ke TKP saja. :)

FOOD AND RESTAURANT

Waitress : Good afternoon.... Welcome to the La Svera Restaurant.....!!!
All customers : Thanks....!
Waitress : The special menus for today are Pasta, Risotto, Pizza, Steak, and seafood Lasagna. What would you like to order?
Customer 1 : Hmm.... I’d like Pasta. But don’t get that too spicy.
Waitress : Ok, What would you like to drink?
Customer 1 : I’d like water. Please.
Waitress : Ok, how about you?
Customer 2 : I’d like Pasta which is spicy.
Waitress : What would you like to drink?
Customer 2 : I’d like a hot chocolate. Please.
Waitress : Ok, and you?
Customer 3 : I’ll have seafood Lasagna.
Waitress : What would you like to drink?
Customer 3 : I’d like a cup of coffee. Please.
Waitress : Would you like anything else?
All customers: Nothing. Thanks..
Waitress : Ok, I’ll bring it right away.

Later…………….

Waitress : Would you like dessert?
Customer 2 : Yes, I’d like vanilla ice cream.
Customer 3 : I’d like blueberry ice cream.
Custommer 1 : Hmm.... I’d like white chocolate, please..
Waitress : Ohh... It’s a favorite dessert in here.... Ok. I’ll bring it right away..

Customer 3 : Hmm.... Yummyy....... I like it...
Customer 2 : That’s true. I usually go there every I have much money.. Haha....
Customer 1 : Hahaha.........
Waitress : Here is a bill..
Customer 1 : Ohh My God, where is my wallet? My wallet is lost..
Customer 2 : Really? Calm down, please. Maybe it falls down under your chair. Please check in your chair..
Customer 1 : Nothing.....
Customer 3 : Don’t worry. I can lend my money for you..
